Our Savior Lutheran Church was organized with 82 charter members on March 19, 1961, with Ernest Collard as their first pastor. The first worship service had been held on November 6, 1960, following Rev. Collard’s arrival a month previous. The first Sunday School followed on November 13. Groundbreaking was held May 28, 1961.
